Fitness friends, here is a healthy recipe for Protein Waffle.  Life Transformations Personal Trainers, in Lee’s Summit, share clean eating tips.  Try out a protein waffle.  Enjoy as a complete meal or pair with some fresh berries.  Also, this would be a great on the go meal.  Make ahead and grab and go.  Need to travel, place some premade Protein Waffles in the freezer to take to your destination.  By the time you get there, they should still be cold.  Don’t give up on your goals when out of town or on the go…just plan ahead.
Protein Waffle
Ingredients:

  • 1/4c oatmeallife transformations personal training lees summit trainer recipe 21
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 2-3 tbsp water
  • Zero calorie sweetener to taste
  • Vanilla to taste
  • For a fluffier waffle, you can add 1/4 tsp baking soda and 1/4 tsp salt.

Directions
Mix ingredients together, pour into a greased waffle iron.  Top with sugar free syrup.
*Other variations:
Try sweet potato or pumpkin instead of applesauce.
Add cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin pie spice, flavored extracts
Top with fresh berries or agave
