Are you looking for some family fun? Join us for Family STEAM Night on Friday April 27th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. This event is in conjunction with Downtown Lee’s Summit Forth Friday.
Come on in to Life Transformations Personal Training for a night of fun. We will have fun, STEAM activities for kids of all ages.
- Activity stations from 5:00pm-8:00pm
- Experiments/demonstrations every 30 minutes starting at 5:00pm
- Artist Jo Finch with have mixed media mosaic artist on location.
What is STEAM?
STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!
