Lee’s Summit fitness friends, here are some tips for our week of snow/ice days.
Have you been home a little more than usual?  Well, it’s time to get moving.  When you get stir crazy…try a home workout.  Include the family for more fun! 
Do 20 of each, repeat 3-4 times. No equipment is needed for these exercises.
Run in place (30 seconds)   
Stationary lunges, each leg
Body weight squats
Stair calf raises
Couch dips
Pushups
Lying Supermans
Sit ups (partner can hold feet)
Skier Jumps
Hop Scotch jumps
Spider-Man crawls or crunches
Plank Holds
Make sure to find an open space to give yourself plenty of room.  If you enjoyed these exercises, see if you can come up with some more.
