Do you need a 5 minute breakfast that you can make the night before?  Here is the perfect option for you.  Overnight Oats are a quick and easy breakfast.  Plus it is packed with protein and whole grains, and open for options with optional add-ons.  Check out the recipe below, then try it out.

 

You may wonder how this works.  Well, as the oatmeal sits, it soaks up the moisture of the almond milk.  They it is a cold and refreshing breakfast.  If cold breakfast isn’t for you, toss this in the microwave for 60 seconds to warm it up.

 

Overnight Oats

Ingredients

½ c Old Fashion Oatmeal

1 scoop Chocolate Whey Protein

1 c Unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk

 

Directions

Mix ingredients together in a bowl, cover and place in fridge for at least 5 hours.

Enjoy a quick and easy breakfast.  You can make multiple days at once.  A mason jar is a great idea for storage.

 

Options:

Vanilla Whey, Vanilla Almond Milk

Cinnamon Roll Whey, Vanilla Almond Milk, Cinnamon

Chocolate Mint Whey, Chocolate Almond Milk

Chia Seeds

Maple Syrup

Local Honey

Blueberries

Strawberries

Nut butter

Flax Seeds

Sliced Banana
