Workout videos posted with form, tips, descriptions, and modifications for all fitness levels.

Nutrition will be kept simple.  Let’s make eating healthy easy and enjoyable.  Start with downloading a nutritionkansas city superbowl party food app to track your daily macros and calories. Many are free and easy to use.   You will learn how to track macros and see how eating affects your body.  When you are ready, just message me for a Nutrition Questionnaire.  This will give me insight into your starting body composition and lifestyle.   I will send over nutrition information to follow to help you reach your goals.  Be sure to use the app to learn the macros of different foods. Note: you don’t need to track calories for an extended period of time.  Use it as a tool to learn what foods have in them and what works for you.

Clients eating in a healthy calorie range and exercising can loose about 1 pound per week.

Weekly tips on nutrition, meal planning, exercises, improving all dimensions of wellness and more will be shared each week.  Chime in and see what you can learn!
Feel free to reach out with questions.  You get out of this group what you put into it.  Message me if something isn’t working or you need help.

Share milestones, achievements, personal successes with the group.  A photo of your smart watch after a workout, screenshot of your nutrition app, photo of your fitness equipment, etc.

About Me

Since a young age, have been involved in many aspects of health and fitness.  I have always had a deep desire to stay active and fit.  Growing up as a busy competitive athlete helped form this groundwork.  When I found myself in college, burnt out on competitive sports, I took a job at a local gym.  This is where my love for sports turned into a love of exercise and fitness.  Weekly weight training, cardio, yoga, spinning, and other fun activities filled my free time while juggling college and a full time job.  I literally felt like I was Spinning through College,  reading and writing papers while doing cardio on a stationary bike.  After graduating I stayed in the fitness industry and bounced around different jobs on the professional side, before switching to Personal Training.  This is where fitness took a whole new level in my daily life.  Helping people improve their health became a very rewarding perk to my job.  Seeing a client no longer need daily medication to lower blood pressure, or now have a renewed energy to play with their young kids can be self fulfilling for a trainer.  I knew this is where my job would stay.

While my job is a professional side of fitness, my personal fitness has evolved as well.  My love of exercise and fitness turned to dabbling competitive Figure/Fitness Shows, running 5ks, Tough Mudder Races, Off Road Adventure Races, Triathlons, Duathlons, and long hikes.  Being active and working out made me feel ready to jump into something new.  My personal health and fitness has evolved into working out and eating healthy for health and wellness.  Resistance training or strength training has always been a weekly activity I love.  My cardio has evolved to a love of biking and hiking.  Nutrition is definitely a key to health.  Eating whole foods, watching portion sizes, enjoying cooking healthy make nutrition enjoyable.  It doesn’t have to be eat the same foods everyday.  Eat foods you like, find ways to eat foods you enjoy; there are many options to “healthy up a recipe.”

The Women’s Wellness Lifestyle Group allows me to share health and wellness with others who I may not see in our personal training studio.  I see this as a positive support group for like minded ladies.  Wellness is a way of life.  Not just exercise and nutrition, but all aspects of health.  Let’s explore these aspects of health and wellness together!

Oh, and the fun stuff.  Born and raised in Kansas City,  I am a small business owner, coffee & dog lover.  My husband and I stay busy raising an active  teenage son.  Like most parents we try to instill healthy family habits while letting a teen be a teen, what a fine line! Oh, and yes, when you join the group, you can send me a photo of your dog.  Just expect one in return!!

Stay active, stay healthy!
